Gerd Kullak-Ublick MD
Professor and Chair

The Division of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology provides consultation services in the field of pharmaceutical therapy. Additional central points of focus are pharmaceutical drug safety, conducting Phase I studies, and drug interaction consultations.

The Division of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology provides diagnostic services and therapy for undesired side effects from drugs, drug interactions, toxic liver damage, and hepatic porphyria. The diagnostis and treatment of acute and chronic poisonings are conducted together with the Swiss Center of Toxicology.

  • Diagnosis and therapy of undesired side effects of drugs
  • Diagnosis and therapy of cholestatic and metabolic liver diseases, medication safety in pregnancy, hepatopathies in pregnancy, and drug therapy of chronic inflammatory intestinal diseases
